First Pool Day of 2011

MAY DAY, MAY DAY!!  Yesterday was spent around the pool with Sterling.  That little boy LOVES the pool.  He's been asking to go swimming for a while now.  With most days already reaching 80-90 degrees, we thought the water would now be warm enough for swimming BUT honestly, it wasn't.  The water is still very cool but it didn't stop Sterling from having some fun in the water.  Mom kept to the side of the pool while daddy was brave enough to endure the cool waters and play around with Sterling.  Daddy grilled up some great hot dogs.  We had a typical American picnic style lunch that included hot dogs and watermelon.

It was a great day!! There's no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!  I'm thrilled that summer is around the corner...it won't be long now!  22 school days left and counting..........
